Ok, I have a full name, Zoey Grace Sebourn. Born on Saturday 6-6-09, 8lbs, 14 ounces, 19 ½ inches long.
Yes, I can organize meals. My cell phone number is 817-781-4513. You might word it somehow for people to leave me a good message on my voice mail and I will call them back when I get home from work. I cant be on my cell at work.
Also, an update on Zoey, all IV’s and tubes were taken out yesterday. She is eating MORE than a regular newborn does and has had NO problems keeping her food down. Zoey’s night nurse told Alicia yesterday that she didn’t quite know how to put it, but there is no explanation for how well Zoey has done. She has NEVER seen a baby with the “O” defect that has recovered so quickly and has not had any other complications. Alicia was released from the hospital yesterday, but was allowed to stay in her room until they needed it for someone else. Alicia stayed until 11:00 pm last night to nurse her for her feeding. If all goes well today, they will re-admit Alicia tonight and do “rooming in” with Zoey in Alicia’s room and release Zoey tomorrow!
Also, they were moving Zoey out of NICU and into the regular nursery by this morning!
What a miracle!!!!!! Zoey has not had her scan yet on her back for the marking the doctors were concerned about. Keep praying that it will be nothing and she will be perfectly healthy. Which, I already know in my heart, that she will be.
Thank You,
Shannon Bucek
